AccuWeather, a global weather forecasting and digital media company, relies on accurate and timely information delivery. As lead UI designer for their desktop and mobile websites, I oversaw user testing and a comprehensive reskin of the existing design. My focus was creating intuitive interfaces and improving user experience, ensuring consistent branding and enhancing user satisfaction with their crucial weather data.

solution: lead design front for Reskin of existing website to prevent shock to users, following Slate brand guidelines, so that the user experience and structure is mostly the same as the original website. Prepared website for gradual User experience and user interface updates over time so audience can grow with the company. Conducted user tests to ensure updates were understandable.
In contrast to the rest of the mobile website, the responsive radar mobile web experience was completely redesigned, rather than reskinned, with my art direction and design.

solution: create circular design that can show changes in weather, such as when it’s going to rain down to the minute. Animate transitions between weather events to better explain smart watch app to developers.
